Entrance (C563/C573): Deadbolt is locked or unlocked by key outside or thumbturn inside. Thumb-piece from outside or lever from inside retracts latchbolt. Deadbolt and latch are not interconnected.
Dummy Entry (TDP): Trim with rim dummy cylinder outside, dummy plate escutcheon inside.
Door Thickness: 1-3/4 in. as standard. Thick door kits available, sold separately.
Specify latch backset when ordering. Available for 2-3/8 in. or 2-3/4 in.
Specify handing for both functions. Latchbolt is field reversible.

Return-to-door levers are required in some jurisdictions to prevent clothing from being caught on the door while exiting the building during an emergency. They also help meet accessibility guidelines by stopping the hand from slipping off the end of the lever.
